Folks,

I am trying to setup pptp to my callmanager box which is behind a pix firewall. The callmanager has a one to one mapping to a public address. As soon as I setup pptp server under RAS on win2k, i loose connection to the callmanager over the internet, is that normal? once pptp is enables on a NIC does it enable a firewall or something? I want to be able to register my softphone to callmanager using pptp, ipsec is not an option. please advice. I would like to terminate pptp on the server rather than on the pix if possible.

I dont think it would be a supported configuration to terminate PPTP connection on the callmanager server. You may optionally terminate PPTP connections on a separate standalone MS server and get the phone connected to the network and then the phone should be able to talk to callmanager.
