Secondary number display in 7940

Dear Pro:

I have couple of IP Phone 7940 configure with 'ephone-dn dual-line' and each of them have 2 extensions (primary and secondary), is it anyway I can differentiate in a the call display which extension is ringing for incoming call? (primary or secondary?)

yes. Put two directory-entries for 5511 and 5000. (say 5511 - SamLine1, 5000 - SamLine2)The under telephony-service, specify command, "service dnis dir-lookup". A display of the text that you put in the directory entry should show up at the bottom of the LCD screen right above the softkeys.
