Hi,

I have just come across a bug for the same. Let us know if that can help.

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCeg57839

Here is the explanation:

Symptom:

The following message is displayed on a Catalyst 3750 or 3560 switch:

%PLATFORM_RPC-3-MSG_THROTTLED: RPC Msg Dropped by throttle mechanism: type 3, class 39, max_msg 4, total throttled 16

Condition:

The user is trying to create a routed interface when snmp-server ifindex persist

is configured.

Workaround:

Remove the command snmp-server ifindex persist from the configuration.

Additional Information:

The command snmp-server ifindex persist is not supported on the Catalyst 3750, 3560, and 2970

HTH,Please rate if it does.
