Hi Prem,

an example of the config is:

class-map match-all VoiceControl

match ip dscp cs5

class-map match-all VoiceTraffic

match ip dscp ef

Hi Mahendra

In addition to Mark's comments we use different parameters to mark & classify the traffic.

In the config which you have posted basically classifies the traffic with dscp value marked as EF - Expediate Forwarding.

This is very much equivalent to IP Precedence value 5.

We mostly use either ip precedence or dscp values to mark the voice traffic.

When compared to IP Precedence in DSCP you have more bits rather more options so that we can give required priority or guarantee to different traffic patterns.
