Hello,
Is there a way to rewrite the TTL value of a packet on a cisco router?
I am not asking about scoping here - I am actually searching for a way to increase the TTL value of a packet.

are you looking to increase TTL for all packets or for specific packet?

Hi Sourabh,
I need to increase the TTL of packets that I receive on one interface before they get send out another interface. Reason is that I have no way of increasing the TTL on the source.
Unfortunately, I don't think that your link provides a solution to this (the `ttl-ip` command is only for DNS related issues), but still thank you for you input!
Regards, Dirk
