Hi,

Has anyone configured up Backup ISP links on ASA 5520's configured in a active/standby scenario?

Details of the concept are here :-

I am wondering if 2 ASA 5200's are configured up each with a link to both ISP's, will failover work and more importantly if VPN tunnels which normally terminate on the Primary, will they be able to terminate on the failover unit using the secondary ISP's "external" IP address, should the Primary fail if the remote end is configured with dual peer addresses.

Hope this is clear enough.

Cheers
