Dear all,

I have 2 dial-peer

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination pattern 9........

port 1/0/0

dial-peer voice 2 pots

destination pattern 9001T

port 1/0/0

When I dial 9xxxxxxxx, it work. But when i dial 9001xxxxxxxx. The call become 9001.....; it go to dial-peer 1.

How can I use dial-peer 2 to make 9001 call.

Thanks

Hi,

The dial-peer hunting algorithm does a digit by digit analysis and will match the first dial-peer that is a possible match. What is the first dial-peer meant to match?

Here are 2 workarounds:

(1) make the first dial-peer the following:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination pattern 9T

port 1/0/0

(2) or if it is meant for local calls in the US, then you could use the following and thus it won't match dial-peer voice 1 when you dial an international call

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 9[2-9]......

port 1/0/0

Hope this helps,

Tony

Hi,

You can use Preference value to set priority for dial peers.

Thanks
