No interfaces in immediate olist

My question is int t2/1 is joining group ff1e::1 which is being shown correctly in the output of "show ipv6 mroute" but in the output "ipv6 pim toplogy" it says "No interfaces in immediate olist"

Can someone tell why this is so..

Thanks,

Geeta

It is normal for the interface not to show up in the olist of a (S,G) entry in the PIM topology table as per the following documentation excerpt:

"For example, an interface is added to (*,G) entry in PIM topology table upon receipt of an MLD report or PIM (*,G) join message. Similarly, an interface is added to (S,G) entry upon receipt of MLD INCLUDE report for S and G or PIM (S,G) join message. Then PIM installs an (S,G) entry in MRIB with immediate olist (from (S,G)) and inherited olist (from (*,G)). Therefore, the proper forwarding state for a given entry (S,G) can be seen only in the MRIB or the MFIB, not in the PIM topology table."

For a full description of the "show ipv6 pim topology" command:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios123/123cgcr/ipv6_r/ipv6_15g.htm#wp2068197

Use the "show ipv6 mrib route" or "show ipv6 mfib" to get the right information for the specific (S,G).

Hope this helps,
