ISDN Pri on Cisco 3640 router.

Hi Guys,

I have a Cisco 3640 and would like to use it to receive PoS (point of sale) connections.

My problem is that I cannot enable pri-group on it, the command is not available on controller level.

is it possible using the hardware below , or should I order additional hardware.!!!

Here is the hardware/Software I have:

1. NM-2FE2W

2. VWIC-2MFT-E1

3. NM-30DM

4. IOS 12.2.17

The problem is that you use the wrong IOS it does not support """National ISDN Switch Types for BRI and PRI Interfaces""" feature here you can find that if your ios support it or not also if you want to use E1/Pri you can use this ios :

This time i don't have these IOS versions and access to cisco.com.

So if you have following IOS sofware versions pls send me.

12.0.(7)XK,

12.2

12.2T and your offered ios software 12.1.11.

Hello, Ganna!

You need NM-1CTE1B or NM-2CE1B modules. NM-30DM module cannot work with VWIC modules, it works only with NM-CE/CT modules.
