IP conference phone Cisco 7936 how to make it H323

Hi,

I was assured that the 7936 is H323 compliant. If I connect to the phone it is SCCP. How can I change that? I don't see any setting to change it. Thanks.

Peter,

I personally don't recall seeing a posted H.323 image for a 7936. It currently has a SCCP and SIP image. Since it's a polycom rebrand maybe it can take a standard H323 image from Polycom but that's just speculation on my part. What are you trying to do with it that requires H.323? Maybe we can assist with your end result. Of course you can add a H323 gateway to facilitate phone calls to the 7936 thru CCM. Also CCM allows for H323 phone endpoints to be added as well. The 7936 running SCCP for 4.x or SIP/SCCP for 5.x will natively grant you more features with the phone in CCM. At this point Cisco has next to no support for H.323 firmwares anymore for their IP Phones.
