How do I become a Cisco instructor? (CCSI)

Unanswered Question

Does anyone know how to become a Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI)? I am interested in becoming an instructor at someplace like Global Knowledge. Their website says all instructors must have a CCSI certification but I can't seem to find any info on it.

I have this problem too.

There is a certain procedure with some requirements:

1)you need to be CCNP

2)you need a certified Cisco learning partner like Global Knowledge as a "sponsor". They will organize an exam date for you.

3) pass the CCSI exam. Afaik this is a two day event (it was when I did it). One day labs (ICND), one day presentations

4) pass course exams at trainer level or above.

5) get an average student evaluation of 4.25 from 5 or better in your classes.

I might miss something, but best starting point would be to find a Cisco training partner willing to support you first. They will guide you through the certification procedure.
