I have has a number of workstations on the same switch receive static shocks from the earpiece on the handset on a 7940 phone. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

We have 800+ IP phones (7940 and 7960), using standard handset, power through 3750 switches with inline power.
Have naver heard complaints on static shocks.
Do you use (Foil) Shielded FTP cabling? (We don't, and you should not because of earthloops etc).

Thanks, No we are not using shielded cable. I found some other posts in another group dealing with the problem. I also found that our switch stack rack was not grounded and have installed grounding. The switch in question has several blown ports and will be replaced this weekend. It seems that there should be MOVs in the switch to remove static from the lines.
