cutoff last couple digits the calling number in 7960 IP phone

when a call taken in 7960 IP phone two lines on the LCD. caller name in 1st line and calling number in 2nd.

The problem is cutoff the calling number in the case long digit by the timer box.

calling number

case#1=9058881234

case#2=2829058881234

calling number on the 7960 LCD

case#1=9058881234<time counting>-->no cutoff

case#2=2829058881<time counting>-->cutoff the last three digits.

Any way to remedy to not cutoff the calling number(case#2)?

Hi cjrchoi,

Most definitely, you cannot set the phone to eliminate the time box that covering the last digits. But you can setup a voice translation rule on your GW or in the CM to strip off the initial prefix, if present.

This way the number will fit on the display.
