This EEM policy detects, and optionally clears, TCP sockets hung in certain states. When a socket in one of the configured states is detected, the script will determine the number of retransmissions sent on that particular connection. If the number of retransmissions is equal to or over the user configured threshold, the script generates a syslog message, and clears the connection if configured to do so.
