Core Issue
When the Cisco 7940 IP Phone with phone load P00303020700 is turned on, it displays configuring IP, configuring CM list and then displays Compression Type Error. The error occurs after the IP phone gets its IP address.
The debug report displays the following code:

This code repeats itself on the report each time Compression Type Error appears on the phone display. The phone has been cleared and reset to factory defaults with no changes in the error and Cisco CallManager 3.2(3)ES08 is currently being used.
When the same phone is connected to a Cisco CallManager 3.3 network, the phone works fine. However, when brought back to the network on Cisco CallManager 3.2, it starts receiving the compression error. Other phones work fine.
