In certain situations, it is desirable to restore the access point configuration to the original default factory settings. This is useful when you want to remove an undesirable configuration that is present in the access point. If you have configured an access point and the configuration has become very complex or if you want to move the device from one network to other, you can reset the access point to factory defaults and configure it as a new one. This document provides the steps to reset your WAP2000 access point.
Reset Router to Factory Defaults
Step 1. Use the Access Point Configuration Utility to choose Administration > Factory Default. The Factory Default window opens.
Step 2. Click on the Restore Factory Default button. A dialog box appears.
Step 3. Click OK in order to reset the router to its original configuration.
