Objective

VPN is an establishment of a private secured network over an unsecured network. SPA232D ATA does not support VPN technology natively, it will only allow the VPN traffic that initiated from VPN client to pass through to Internet, then reach the remote VPN gateway. The term comes from allowing the VPN traffic to “passthrough” the router. SPA232D supports three VPN protocols namely IPsec, PPTP, and L2TP. This article explains how to enable the VPN passthrough feature for different protocols.
