Upgrade Device Firmware on PLG1000

Objective

The firmware is upgraded during the automated maintenance window, if needed, on the OnPlus Network Agent. This document describes how to upgrade firmware for the Cisco Small Business devices from the portal.

Applicable Devices

  • PLG1000

Add Devices

Log on to Cisco OnPlus Portal and select the desired customer's network.

Step 1. From the Network Topology or Device Listing view on customer's network dashboard, open the Device Information window for the device that needs to be upgraded.

Step 2. Click Settings tab. If the portal detects that a firmware upgrade is available for a device, the message "Firmware upgrade is available" is displayed at the top of the Settings tab.

Step 3. From Actions menu, choose Upgrade Firmware. This option is displayed in the list if updated firmware for the device has been made available on the portal.

Step 4. Click Confirm. Firmware gets upgraded and device restarts.
