Cisco is changing the verification procedure for software downloads on TelePresence endpoints running TC software beginning with TC 6.1.0.
A release key has been used to access major releases of endpoint software, allowing customers to access dot (minor) releases regardless of their services contract. A new procedure requires a valid service contract associated with your Cisco Connection On-line (CCO) ID to access software downloads. Thus, dot releases and major releases have the same service contract requirement.
