Core Issue

The TimesTen Data Authority Server (TTDAS) is a cache server that provides main-memory database access for the Service Engine (SE), the Edge Proxy (EP), the Data Exchange (DE) and the Data Gateway (DGW).

The das-status command displays the status of the Data Authority Servers (DASs), including the DAS instance ID, name, and connection status. The status is displayed for each DAS in the site that was online and known to the Naming Service (NS), when the server was started. For the DGW and DE in a DGW site, the status is displayed for each DAS in all sites that were online and known to the NS when the server was started.

Resolution

To display the status of each DAS, navigate to the data-access context under the Command Line Interface (CLI) and issue this command:

context data-access
[data-access]>view das-status
das-status -t 0 -n SA/R_1/POP1/DAS/1 -s online -r 1 -u in-use
das-status -t 1 -n SA/R_1/POP1/DAS/2 -s online -r 2 -u stand-by
