Core issue

This issue usually occurs if the attributes of the .pcf file for a particular connection is set to read only.

Resolution

Complete these steps in order to resolve this issue:

  1. Choose Program Files > Cisco Systems > VPN Client > Profiles.

  2. Choose the connection entry that you wish to delete.

  3. Right-click on the connection entry and choose Properties.

  4. If Read Only box is checked, uncheck it.

  5. Try to delete the connection entry from VPN client. It should now work.
