Core Issue

In the Bulk Administration Tool (BAT), when an attempt is made to add User Device Profiles (UDPs), this error message appears:

Error : The following error occurred while trying to retrieve the information for the requested template
CDBLException Dump: [Invalid parameter] (Error Number: 1544)

This error message appears when User Device Profiles are added with this method:

Choose Insert User Device Profiles from the User Device Profile Options page in Step 1: Add, view, or modify user device profile templates, and click Next.


Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, complete these steps:


  1. Uninstall the BAT with Add/Remove Programs.

  2. Choose CCMadmin > Application > Update plugin URL.

  3. Choose these values:
       
    • Plugin type Installation

    • Plugin name Cisco Bulk Administration Tool
       
  4. Click Update.

  5. Choose CCMadmin > Application > Install Plugins. Look for the Cisco Bulk Administration Tool plugin and install it again.
