If you have a Support Service or Mission Critical Support Service contract directly with Cisco for Unified Computing System (UCS), you can receive automatic Service Request generation from the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) by registering with the Smart Call Home service. The Call-Home feature on UCS may report diagnostic and environmental failures to Smart Call Home service through email, which may be further analyzed and could result in remediation steps for known issues. In critical situations, Service Requests may be created automatically.
