WCS license count issue

Hi,

I have 2 WiSM modules, and totally have 406 APs registered to the 2 WiSMs. If the WCS license is 400 APs only, can I select 6 specific APs not manage by WCS?

Yes you can.  You just add what you want first. You will get a message everything you log on stating that your license isn't enough:)

Thanks for your reply. But as I know when I add controller to WCS, the all APs registered with controller will add to WCS automatically. If I remove some APs, does it add to WCS automatically again, and cause the WCS license not enough?

Do you mean if WCS license is less than AP count, all WCS function ( include WCS plus feature if we have WCS plus license ) still will work fine, we only get the license isn't enough message while logon to WCS?
