You can use Cisco Jabber Video for TelePresence to quickly and easily make video calls to other Jabber Video or TelePresence users, and to manage video calls or share content.

The maximum incoming and outgoing Jabber Video call rate is 768Kbps. The service sets this as the default rate, though it can change as needed (see Change the network bandwidth).

Make a video call using search

  1. On the Jabber Video control screen, in the field at the top of the screen, begin typing the name of the person or device to which you want to make a video call.
  2. When the person or device appears in the search results, do one of the following.

  • Double-click the name.
  • Click the name and click .
  • Click the name and press Enter.

The video screen is displayed.

Make a video call from your call history

  1. On the Jabber Video control screen, click History.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • Double-click a call history entry.
    • Click a call history entry and click .
    • Click a call history entry and press Enter.

Make a video call to a favorite

  1. On the Jabber Video control screen, click Favorites.
  2. Do one of the following.

    • Double-click a favorite.
    • Click a favorite and click .
    • Click a favorite and press Enter.

Make a video call by entering a video address

  1. On the Jabber Video control screen, in the field at the top of the screen, enter the full video address in the format [displayname]@jabber.com, [displayname]@webex.com, or [10-digit number]@webex.com.
  2. Click or press Enter.
