Hi,

if you need additional digits (for example a "0") in front of the CallingID of the person who tried to call you to make an easy call return from the missed calls page on a SPA phone on the UC320W, then you can create a Transformation Rule in the Mediatrix ISDN Gateway to add this steering digit.

In myspecific example calls coming in the UC320W in the format:

06196 7739800

area code and local number

To dial this number back from UC320W  I need to dial:

0 06196 7739800

i.e. i need to add a '0' to get an outside line and then dial area code '06196' and local number '7739800'.

You can have the Mediatrix to add a leading 0 for all incoming ISDN calls. That makes call return easy.

Here is the screenshot from the Mediatrix config page:

Step 1: Add a Mapping Type: I called it "Add0" with the transformation Calling E164 to Calling  E164

Step 2:  Add a Mapping Expression with the same name "Add0" and transform   .+   to  0\0

( \0 means take the whole string , and 0\0 means take the whole string and prepend a zero)

Step 3: Add the mapping type to the incoming calls (in my case i Use only BRI3 so I added it to the isdn-Bri3 to sip-UC320 route)

Let me know if this works for you

Jo

NB: For SIP calls you might want to ask your SIP service provider if he can add the 0 for you.
