If you experience low video quality, for example, jitter, lowering the bandwidth may help.

If you know that more bandwidth is available than the amount set as the default, you can increase the bandwidth for better video quality.

  1. On the Cisco Jabber Video for Telepresence control screen, do one of the following:
    • Windows: Click , and then click Settings.
    • Mac: From the main menu, click Jabber Video > Preferences.
  2. Click Bandwidth.

  3. Drag the sliders to adjust the incoming and outgoing bandwidth. To restore the default settings, click Reset to default.
  4. Click OK.

This begs the question what is the default call bandwidth Jabber Video uses?

Hi,

I can not make any changes.
Can you tell me why?

Hello Michael,

Your bandwidth configuration window looks different from the one at the top - only 512kbps Muximum. That may be an earlier version of Jabber video.

You can go to www.ciscojabbervideo.com to download the latest version.

Regards.
