Cisco Catalyst 6500 is one of the most widely deployed Switches in the world. The “Swiss Army knife of network”, can do routing, switching,security, wireless and almost everything that you would want your core switch to do.
In this forum we will cover topics like 6500 architecture, capacity, over-subscription, copper/fiber modules, Supervisors (Sup 720 and Sup 32). Please note that we will NOT be covering supervisor SUP 2T in this discussion. We request you to post your queries related to LAN Switching during the forum event.
