PLK or Soft Key to Corporate Directory

Running CUCM 6.0.1. We want to get to the Corporate Directory faster. Like one key.

I opened a TAC case and know that we can not move the Corporate Directory up.

In another post, it was suggested that I create a soft key to a URL application and point it to server:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectory.jsp

But the Admin guide says NOT to point a phone service to a server in the CM cluster.

Any advice? Suggestions?

Okay - I reread the admin guide and see they meant not to run services (install apps) on the servers.

The SURL totally works, but it comes up with both the personal and corporate using the string above.

Anyone know how to change it to just Corporate?

Got it!

You can create the URL to just the corporate directory and assign it to a line.

The IP Phone Configuration URL http://"your Pub Here":8080/ccmcip/xmldirectoryinput.jsp

I chose to add it as a Service URL button instead of a soft key. This way it's right there. One button!

What killed me was our installer just saying no and TAC saying no, and it was a post from another forum that pointed me in the right direction.

Thought that at least posting would allow others to do this also. It works great!
