spa112 provisioning troubles 2: config

Diego Betancor

Hi,

when you try something like this

http://phoneIP/admin/resync?https://provServer/spa112.cfg

the web takes you to the login page. Then you have to try again the provisioning. For the end users it is complicated. Is anyway to pass admin:admin in the resync petition?

Thank you, Diego

Hi Diego,

*** Start: Before you use this, be aware that you are about to send the credentials as clear text!

*** Lab use only!

Use a command similar to the following:

http://192.168.12.44/admin/resync?tftp://192.168.12.244/pathToFile/configFile.xml&xuser=admin&xpassword=1234

Where:

  • 192.168.12.44-- IP address of ATA
  • tftp-- scheme, can be tftp, http, or https
  • 192.168.12.244-- IP address / name of server hosting the config file
  • pathToFile-- location of config file
  • configFile.xml-- name of config file
  • &xuser==admin-- use admin as the user
  • &xpassword==1234-- where admin's password is "1234"

*** Lab use only!

*** End: Before you use this, be aware that you are about to send the credentials as clear text!

Regards,

Patrick

Hi,

works great (except passwd is admin).

Do not worry about the credential in clear text because 1) is inside local network and 2) just before this step the user resets the phone to factory, and the credentials are in the manual.

Thank you, for this and your other answers.
