Cisco 5300 Series MCU - Web Interface

Hi,

Not had the pleasure of working with one of the new 5300 series MCU's yet.

Am i correct in presuming it use the same/similar web interface format as the other 42XX/45XX series MCU's? Are there any significant differences, apart from the obvious stacking capabilities and port license allocation?

Thanks, Simon

Hi Simon

Yes. Similary 42/45 series.

But

And no “Gateway” and “Gatekeeper” as well.

Thanks,

Didn't realise there was no embedded GK functionality either!

Hey Simon,

These are all the differences you will see between the 5300 and past other models.

  • Only supports MCU 4.3 software code and later.
  • Does not feature any of the following
    • Built-in gatekeeper
    • Streaming
    • VNC
    • ConferenceMe
    • Configured H.323 gateways
    • FTP
    • G.723.1
