Fax are not landing on gateway.

Hi All,

Fax from rightfax is not landing on gateway ,when sent a fax on number 5540004d.we are getting error "ref cause (27) destination out of order" on Right Fax.

Please find the attached traces from CUCM.

Right (inter-cluster trunk non gatekeeper) - > CUCM 8.6 - > MGCP gateway -> Pstn

Right Fax IP is 192.168.2.181

Hi Waqas,

I think u would have configured SIP trunk between Right FAX server and Call Manager .VG is regsitered to Call manager on MGCP.

Are u able to receive faxesin RightFAX server?

Also, how u are sending faxes.Is it through FAXUtil?

Have u configured Dialing rules in Fax server?

We are able to dial 065540004 from ip phone and other faxes are also working for this remote site.

only issue is with this number.

Hi Waqas,

when u are trying to send fax to above number from RigthFAX server, does the call hit Voice Gateway?Do u have a PRI on Router?

Can u run debug on router?

Can u share the snapshot of Dial Rule from Fax?

Call is not hitting the voice gateway.

Yes Pri is there and from ip phone i can dial this no.

I did debug isdn q931 but nothing appear on gateway.

Append Digits, Strip digits, append this [@IP address of CUCM server]

Also, in RightFAX Doc Trnasport module , under operation do u see RCV or send  against PRI channels?

Can you please tell me how i can find ,from which gateway call manager sending right fax for branch site?

like we can trace a call from DNA.

Here are the answers of your prvious question:

Append Digits, Strip digits, append this [@IP address of CUCM server]

Prepend 9 and append with “@ address of CUCM>”

tried to send through channels and dropping immediately , while captured traces through wire shark it gives be reject message with description as destination out of order (Q931 release cause 27)

     So other faxes from the site work, its olny when we try a fax to 065540004 that the call fails? And the in the traces which you have attached, that is the destination number that was tried? If you could also share the calling number please.

Can u brief on deployed setup like are subscribers connected across WAN?

Does each site have its own Gateway?Is RightFAx server placed at central site along with Publisher?

Are u using Local Route Groups?

1.Yes all subcribers are connect accross wan.
2.Yes all sites have its own gateway.
3.Yes Right fax is on HQ with Publisher.
4.In route pattern ,we assign direct gateway instead of route list(but we will reconfigur in route group)

Yes all other faxes are working for this site.I check with right fax engineer ,we are not using any calling number for right fax.

How u are using sending faxes? Is there any third party utility ?

Why I am asking is that can u use RightFax FAXUtil to send the fax to this number through any other remote site?

Please try using FAXUtil  from any other remote site to send fax to above number.

If  u try from PSTN to dial fax number, are u getting FAX tone.
