このドキュメントでは、Nexus 3000/3100 シリーズの 7.0I リリースへのアップグレードに関する情報を提供します。
※ Nexus 3500 シリーズは含みません
ドキュメントの説明
Nexus 3000 シリーズはこれまで NX-OS U トレイン (5.0U/6.0U) を使用していましたが，7.0 台から Nexus 9000 シリーズと同じ I トレイン (7.0I) を使用します．
I トレインでは使用するイメージが一つとなり，アップグレード時に使用する install コマンドのオプションが異なります．また，ダウングレード時も BIOS のダウングレードも必須となります．
手順について
アップグレードには install コマンドを使用しますが，オプションに "nxos" を使用しイメージを指定します．また，ダウングレード用に 6.0U の設定を保存することを推奨します．

まず，7.0I の設定を保持したままの 6.0U へのダウングレードは正式にはサポートしておりません．そのため，アップグレード前に保存した 6.0U でのバックアップを startup-config に事前にコピーします．
ダウングレード時にはこれまでと同じように "kickstart" オプションと "system" オプションを使用しますが，あわせて "no-save" と "bios-force (隠しオプション)" オプションを指定します．"no-save" はコピーした 6.0U の startup-config を保持するため，"bios-force" はBIOS を強制的にダウングレードするためとなります．
