【製品新規購入時】
- ライセンス状態
発注したライセンスは基本的にPreinstall されて出荷されますが、
Preinstallされていない場合にはPAKでの提供となります。
追加ライセンスやアップグレードライセンスはPAKでの提供となります。
- ライセンス取得手順
＊PAKにて提供されたライセンスの場合には 入手した
PAK コードと UDI を Cisco のオンライン ライセンス ポータル（ http://www.cisco.com/go/license ）に登録します。

【RMA時】
- ライセンス状態
RMAされた機器はライセンスを含んでいませんので、
代替機器にライセンスを転送（リホスト）する必要があります。
- ライセンス取得手順
新旧機器それぞれのHost ID を入力することによって、
その場ですぐに新機器に投入可能なライセンスファイル（.lic形式）が生成されて、お客様の手元へ送信されます。
ライセンスを転送する場合は、RMA ポータル（ https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/LicenseAdminServlet/getProducts ）が用意されています。
必要情報：
故障機と代替機の下記情報
Host ID: *1
*1コマンド"show license host-id"
上記RMAポータルにて転送（リホスト）ができない場合には
故障品/代替品のHost IDを元に変更（リホスト）依頼をJapan TACまで申請してください。
- ライセンス投入手順
Installing your MDS/Nexus License File:
You should copy the .lic file to the bootflash directory on your MDS/Nexus switch and install it before enabling the licensed feature. Run the command "install license bootflash:<filename>" to install the license on the switch. You cannot overwrite any other license file on the switch having the same name. If any license files exists with the same name, you must rename the attached file before installing or run the install command as "install license bootflash:<filename> newname". You can remove an existing license file on the switch by running the command "clear license <filename>". You can verify the list of licenses installed by running the command "show license list".
Caution: Do not edit the contents of the .lic file in any way or the MDS/Nexus software will ignore any features associated with that license file. The contents of the file are signed and must remain intact. Should you accidentally copy, rename, and insert the license file multiple times, the duplicate files will be ignored, but the original will be counted.
You should print this email, save the attachment to a floppy, and store both for future use if needed.
