ACS 3.2 Vendor Attributes

How to add VSA (Vendor Specific Attributes) on ACS 3.2 just like (Alcatel, Marconi & Extreme)? Is it through the FTP server or by the HTML interface? Where the attributes should be saved? How it can be loaded to the appliance? What is the relationship between RDBMS & VSA?

You can add VSA's via the "csutil" executable. Instructions for how to do it are here:

As for the Appliance, since you don't have any access to it other than via the Web interface, you have to use the RDBMS Sync to ad VSA's to it. You can read up on that here:

Using RDBMS Sync to do this is a lot more difficult than using csutil, but with the appliance you have no choice. There's some other useful links in this NetPro Forum thread:

thanks alot for these info. and i have one question more. we have an appliance and as you said, VSA will be added through RDBMS. the Q. should i do it by FTP server??? and can you give me an example of VSA "Alcatel, for example; or any vendor" in text format using the codes for ACS?
