ACS 3.3 and Windows AD domain prefix/suffix

I have an ACS solution engine v3.3. I just successfully installed the remote agents on a couple of Windows AD Domain Controllers. I can successfully authenticate against the AD database. My question is, is there anyway I can automatically and a suffix/prefix to an unknown username? I currently have to use the fully qualified username, "" in order to authenticate to AD. Thank you.

Re: ACS 3.3 and Windows AD domain prefix/suffix

I presume your Windows AD is in the list of external databases to search for unknown users?

I am not sure how the Solution Engine Appliance works but ACS3.3 installed on a Windows 2003 server, that is a member of the AD domain, can authenticate users in either form i.e user1 or domain\user1.

What does the log show if you do not use the FQUN?
