ACS 4.2 and and password change with IOS 12.4

In Cisco Secure ACS, there is an option

to allow user(s) to change password when

logging into the routers. I am running

IOS version 12.4 and ACS 4.2 and it works

fine when I telnet into the router.

However, I can not get it to work when

I ssh into the router. I am running

IOS version 12.4. According to Cisco bug

ID CSCdy54970, this issue has been

resolved in version 12.3T. Well, I use

version 12.3(14)T11 and 12.4 and it is

not working for me.

Hi There,

When you say its not working, are you not even getting a prompt to change the password, when you just hit submit after entering the username, and nothing for password?

In that case, you need make sure the ACS has the UCP(User changeable Password) patch on it.

You can download this from CCO. Or open a TAC case for the same.
