ACS 5.1 PEAP Certificate Help

Currently trying to configure 802.1x using PEAP for wireless access.  I haven't done this since using ACS 3.3 and I'm lost inregards to the certificate installation and all that good stuff.

The setup is currently working with LEAP and EAP-FAST.

The CA is a Windows 2003 Server.

Thank you,

Ed

Re: ACS 5.1 PEAP Certificate Help

Are you having problems installing the certificate?

Certificates are installed under System Administration -> Local Server Certificates -> Local Certificates

Re: ACS 5.1 PEAP Certificate Help

Hi,

I'm in the same boat, I haven't worked with ACS since verison 3.3, I'm trying to configure PEAP authentication, for our wireless environment.

  1. I haven't found any decent documentation about the certificate process and if it's best to use either self signed or a certificate signed by a root CA?
  2. I have configured LDAP integration but I not sure whats next.

We are using the ACS platform for both 802.1X, Internal RADIUS and TACACS, both the RADIUS and TACACS authentication are working.

Does any have any good documentation, or links to on the configuring PEAP authentication?

Regards,

Mike

Re: ACS 5.1 PEAP Certificate Help

Guys,

This might help. This was created for PEAP-GTC, you may select PEAP-MSchap v2.

PEAP-Self-Signed2.doc
