I have a NON-Cisco IP-Phone with a PC behind. Phone will be authenticated by 802.1X, PC with MAB. Everything works perfect . But when I disconnect the PC and move to another switch, the PC (without connecting to the a Phone) will be authenticated but no traffic is seen (no answer pinging the gateway) .
Disconnect /connect again...then it works fine.
Going back with this PC and connect it to IP-Phone no traffic is seen too. The old session is still there because the switch won´t see that the PC wa disconnected.
I´ve aspected because of the remaining session that it will wokr immediately.
A typically szenario is moving from workplace to confernece room and back.
Your best bet is to set the authenticate timer inactivity timer to set value i.e. 30 seconds, I have used the server keyword for this setting, however I have used this for the reauthenticate command where you have send a session-timeout av-pair to instruct the switch when to time the session out.
Login to the FXOS chassis manager.
Direct your browser to https://hostname/, and log-in using the user-name and password.
Go to Help > About and check the current version:
