ACS HTML Login not working

Hi all, just finished configuring the CLI part of a brand new ACS 3.3 appliance, user and password work fine from the serial connection, but when trying to access the HTML part the user and/or password are not recognized.

Has anyone come across something like this?

Do you mean you can get access to the "ACS Admin" web based UI?

On the same box no password is needed, the URL is http://127.0.0.1:2002

Local login should just work out of the box. If you want to login from someone else you need to create an admin user first.

Hmmm. Did you check to make absolutely sure that you are using the correct case for username and password?

The first access to the GUI (http) has to be the solution engine CLI administrator login, and there are strict rules about length of password and case, etc.

Hi, this has been resolved, there is actually a bug, which locks out the web configuration if the hostname and admin user are the same. Changing the hostname solved the problem and allowed us to access the html admin.
