If connection to our accounting Radius server becomes unavailable for a time, how long will our AS5300 continue trying to send start/stop messages to it?
We have tested other competing access server products which seem to retain this information almost indefinitly until the Radius becomes available, so we hope that our AS5300 will perform similarly.

You would set this with a couple of commands in the AS5300.
> radius-server retransmit
> radius-server timeout
Defaults are 3 and 5 respectively, so it'll try 3 times to send the packet with a time of 5 seconds in between each one before it gives up.

Hi Glenn,
The radius attribute 195 (Disconnect Cause) by Ascend, in which part of the radius packet is this attribute present?, when a Cisco NAS send accounting information to a Radius Server.
Thanks a lot,
Jorge.
