ASA marking aaa server-group as failed

I'm using ACS 5.4 with our switches and ASAs and for some reason the ASAs in our enterprise keep losing connection to the ACS, this only happens with the ASA and I can login to our switches using the same ACS and policy  without a problem. The problem is intermittent

The ACS is on the same vlan as the ASA management interface too

What version of code are you running and what is the platform, also can you post the AAA related config (show run aaa)?

We have various platforms but most are 5505 and 5520. Running code 9.1(1)
