Cisco ACS 3.1 and Logging CLI commands from Nortel Passport

Good Afternoon,

We are trying to log CLI commands to Cisco ACS version 3.1 from Nortel Passport 8600's. The version of code running on passports does not support tacacs+.

The Passports authenticate okay but do not log any command information. I "think" the problem may be that the Radius Nortel VSA for cli-commands-attribute, 195, is not being collected by ACS.

Does anyone know how I would go about getting this VSA added in to the existing Radius(Nortel) list?

Many thanks,

Regards,

Flett.

Flett,

You need to add Nortel attribute 193-195 to enable command accounting.

Unfortunately you cannot upload it on 3.x code, so you need to upgrade acs to 4.x code.

Thanks very much for your help JG.

Do you know if it is an easy thing to do on ACS 4.x?

Flett.

Yes, it is quite simple to upload the VSA. Find attached the steps to upload it.

Thanks once again JG
