Cisco ACS 4.2: Question about the licence...

Dear,

When I began this project, we have start with the demo which is available to the Cisco download center.

We have purchase a license and we are waiting the CD/DVD with the license.

But… how can I transform the “demo” to a licensed version?

Should I reinstall the Cisco ACS?

How is stocked the license, is-it a registry key? A small file?...?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Cisco ACS 4.2: Question about the licence...

Take a backup of the current configuration you want to keep it.

System Configuration > ACS Backup > Backup Now.

Then when you get the full version, simply run the setup and it will automatically detect the trial version, and will prompt you, whether you want to keep the configuration or not, check to keep the configuration, and proceed. And you'll upgraded from trial to Full version.

There are no registry keys involved.

Prem

Massimiliano,

This link is for CiscoSecure ACS "View" =P

I think we want it for CiscoSecure ACS for Windows.

Re: Cisco ACS 4.2: Question about the licence...

Hello,

I don't have an ACS View...

I have forgot to say that we have purchase a Cisco ACS 4.2 for Windows (not the ACS Solution Engine).

I'm going to document my self on this product, but in the case of a Cisco ACS 4.2 (for Windows)... how the license work ?

Thanks in advance,

Thanks all for your very very quick answers.

I am very surprised for the speed of replies arriving on this forum.

Although my questions are not really complicated :o)

So thanks again !
