For Windows 8 Support, you need v4.9.2 of the NAC agent, as detailed in the release notes here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/nac/appliance/release_notes/492/492rn.html#wp1309561

In Windows 8 Operating System, the Internet  Explorer has two modes,  Desktop and Metro. In the Metro mode, the  ActiveX plugins are  restricted. You cannot download NAC Agent in the  Metro mode. You must  switch to Desktop mode and then launch Internet  Explorer to download  NAC Agent.

For Windows 8.1 Support, you need v 4.9.3 of the NAC agent.  Those release notes are here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/nac/appliance/release_notes/49/493rn.html#wp1350968

Hi Charles,

In ISE 1.2, when I Add Agent Resources from Cisco Website, the last version available to me is 4.9.0.1007.

you see in the follow screen this.

In Windows 8 Workstation, when I Open Internet Explorer 10 - Tools - Managed Add-ons, I can see there, informations about NAC Web Agent 4.9.2.5.

There are some difference between version number in  NAC Appliance and ISE ?

Best Regards,

Daniel Stefani

You have to download the latest NAC agent(s) from the NAC Downloads...

Yes, it would be nice to have them listed under ISE also.
