I have an older server running Win2K with ACS 3.2.3. I would like to copy the database from this server to my new machine running ACS 4.1.
I have read many articles on the Forum about replicating, using the CSUTIL.exe, etc, but I haven't yet found a solution that describes if you can do this. Anyone know?
I have read the documentation on creating the dump.txt file, but this doesn't say that I can copy a dump file from one version to another.
Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot restore dmp file from 3.x to any different ver.
To upgrade you need to follow these steps.
1) Take a backup from 3.2.3 , ACS --->system configuration --->ACS backup. Keep that backup handy.
2) Install 3.2.3 on new server, restore the database.
3) Upgrade it to 3.3.3 , during update if you prompt you to keep existing database , make sure you check that , else it will remove all config.
4) Now upgrade it to 4.1.1. Again make sure to check "keep existing database"
You can open a tac case incase you don't have 3.3.3.
