CSACSE-1113-K9 login problems

Just purchased the above mentioned and i can't get into the appliance.

-Upon successful boot-up,i'm prompted with the "lock notice" capture asking me to either connect via serial or web.

-I've tried to console in the appliance using the provided serial cable but i just can't seem to get anything.It's just a blank screen.

Can someone pls pt me in the right direction?

Can you check the settings for the terminal software connected to the console.

The settings are :

.Baud = 115200

.Databits = 8

.Parity = N

.Stops = 1

.Flow control = None

That did it, i was using the old 9600 baud setting (i've used that for all of my cisco devices). This was one of the things i should have paid more attention to from the start.
