CSAdmin service will not load

CSAdmin service does not load. Recieved unknown windows error and nothing is written to the event viewer. Running on a windows 2000 server SP4.

make sure the csauser is local admin on the CSA MC

I am using the local system account to start the service.

I have seen this issue once. My ace.dll was not registered or was missing after upgrading the SQL server app on the box.. I believe its in the system32 directory. Make sure its registered with

regsvr32 ace.dll from command line. It fixed my issue.
