My customer want to deploy new ipphones in their network. Their want to authenticate their ipphones but they don't want authenticate device behind ipphones (such as : PCs or laptops). I have search in cisco documentation there is multi-domain mode dor dot1x (MDA), but MDA requires device behind ipphones to authenticate. I also find dot1x multiple host mode for authenticate multiple host behind hub.
Could i use multiple host for my case (authenticate ipphones but don't authenticate device behinde ipphones) or you can give any hints ?
