Hi ,

This is the only way,

To export a list of users, use the exportusers command.

exportusers [server] [username] [filepath]

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

The customer would like to export the realname and description field aswell.

Any idea if this is possible.

At the moment we are only get the username begin exported with the "exportuser" command.

Thanks

I don't think that is possible.

I think the windows CSUtil.exe can export a few more fields than the ACS SE, I have not tried the SE to compare.

You can backup you DB, install ACS eval for windows and then from the command line in the \Utils directory, run "csutil -d" without the quotes. This

will create a file called dump.txt.

Name : Bubbajoe

Profile : 0

App00 USER_DEFINED_FIELD_0 STRING Bubba

App00 USER_DEFINED_FIELD_1 STRING Joebillybob

What that shows is there is a username of "Bubbajoe" that is in Group 0 (Default) and has

userdefined fields of "Bubba" and "Joebillybob", 1 and 2 respectively.

Take a look at extraxi csvsync and aaa-reports!

csvsync can remotely ask the ACS to generate a package.cab and download it.

aaa-reports! can import the database files contained in the .cab and allows you to report on its content. There is also a visual query builder tool with csv/xls export.

Requires ACS 4.1 or later (for SE) and 4.1(2) for software.
